Incumbent Breakthrough Will Not Shift the Choice of Madurese People to Support Prabowo

Rakyat Update. The Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) is still quite optimistic that it can repeat the victory in Madura.

The various breakthroughs of the central government program under President Joko Widodo towards Madura, are considered not to have much effect.

"With the many programs and breakthroughs carried out only at the time of the presidential election, it will never shift the choice of the Madurese community from Pak Prabowo," said the Gerindra Faction Member in the East Java Parliament on Monday (12/17/2018).


Jokowi indeed launched many programs targeting the Madurese community. Among other things, the Suramadu toll free system was launched at the end of last October.

Nevertheless, Halim said that this would not necessarily change the position of the Madurese community and would again vote for Prabowo.

"Madurese people are smart," said the man who is also a Gerindra candidate from the Madura electoral district.

In addition, his party together with the Provincial Winning Body (BPP) Prabowo-Sandi in East Java will continue to continue sustainable development to the Madurese community.

"Among other things, always be present before the community needs us," Halim said.

It also accommodates community aspirations with a priority scale.


"We are always present when the public invites us when there is a wish," said the Chairman of the PW Satria Gerindra East Java.
